In this novel we learn a lot about Gene .. Gen has a problem with being jealous, In this novel his dark side is he gets so mad at finny he wobbles the branch and Finny falls off and breaks his leg.

The dark side is anything that is evil or wrong. Most people do struggle with the dark side in their own way. The biggest struggle for Gene is with jealousy, he is jealous of Finny.

I think the dark sides of humans represent the jealously. Gene had a deep down almost hatred to Finny because he was jealous. This is why Gene made Finny fall. I think everyone struggles with this issue, some more than others.

The biggest example of a "dark" side so far is when Gene made Finny fall out of the tree. Gene's jealousy got to bad, and it took him over. I do think people struggle with dark sides sometimes.

The dark sides of humans are jealous, anger, and rude. Most people struggle with the fact that people are more happier than you are. Makes them more jealous and rude. They act like that all the time. The person's friends don't know what is going on with that person.

The main dark side of human nature in this book is jealousy. This is an emotion experienced by practically everyone. Jealousy is expressed in this book mainly through Gene. He is jealous of all of the amazing traits Finny has. It grabs a hold of him so bad, that he even acts on his jealousy, injuring Finny terribly. He then shows the other dark sides of human nature -- guilt (because of his bad actions) and anger (because of other people not understanding his situation).

Most of the dark sides of these charters are jealousy in this novel. Gene is the character that struggles with this the most because of how jealous he gets from Finny. This keeps Gene in a dark side and he doesn't even trust himself.

I think a lot of people struggle with their "dark" side. Like Gene he was jealous of Finny, how athletic and popular he was. People have their dark side that they don't want to show. I think Gene definitely has a dark side.

Genes dark side was jealous of finny, of how cool and athletic he was. Gene wanted to be just like him, and he felt really ashamed of what he did to him at the tree. I think a lot of people struggle with their dark side because they always look back on it or something.. idk!?
